New partnership between Jyske Bank and BEC on 5,000 IT workplaces
Jyske Bank’s employees will transition to working on IT workplaces from BEC Financial Technologies.
Jyske Bank has entered into an agreement with BEC Financial Technologies to implement BEC Modern Workplace for all the bank’s employees. The agreement does not include banking systems.
BEC Modern Workplace is a newly developed, cloud-based workplace concept that is in stable operation at 13,000 workplaces in 23 Danish banks and BEC itself.
The solution is based on Microsoft technology. It is already in operation with 500 users in Jyske Bank’s IT environment, and by the summer of 2025, Jyske Bank and BEC expect all 5,000 users to be transferred to BEC Modern Workplace.
BEC and Jyske Bank create economies of scale for both parties through this partnership. BEC Modern Workplace is available for implementation in all banks in Denmark.
BEC Modern Workplace provides employees with fast and modern IT workplaces, which are also designed for Danish banks’ high requirements for compliance and security. The concept includes central administration of PC’s, basic software, security and a cloud-based solution for automatic installation and updating of software.
BEC Financial Technologies is a fintech company owned by 17 member banks, which also provides IT solutions to other customers such as Jyske Bank, which is not a co-owner.
